Inwood

Inwood is a community of several gated neighborhoods (The Heights I and II of Inwood, the hollow of Inwood, Inwood Forest and Inwood Village, The Estates of Inwood) located in far north central San Antonio.  The area spans from the Bitters/Huebner intersection to Loop 1604.  Being just inside Loop 1604, Inwood has close access to major highways, including IH-10 and Hwy 281, shopping (The Rim at La Cantera, The Shops at La Cantera, Heubner Oaks), entertainment (The Palladium, Six Flags Fiesta Texas), and dining (The Roaring Fork, Wildfish, Stonewerks, Ounce Steakhouse, Bigz Burger Joint).

Inwood saw most of it's growth during the early to mid 1990's, and remains a poplular community today.  Because of it's popularity and beauty, Inwood has been home to congressmen, Spurs players, and radio personalities.  

Amenities for residents of Inwood include limited access gates, an Oymplc sized swimming pool that houses a summer youth swim league, a playground, tennis courts, and an outdoor full basketball court.  The Estates of Inwood employs a 24 hour guard at the entrance gate, and a patrol is provided at various night time hours to patrol the community.

Homes in Inwood range in price from the mid $200's to over $1 million, with an average price of $349,900.
